NONOX BV was founded in 1996 as a joint venture company. Original share holders are GET Gas Engine Technology BV (50%), RDC NV (37,5%) and Induserve BV (12,5%). The objective was and is the development of new technology gas engines with both superior environmental and fuel economy properties.
NONOX BV holds several world wide patents on the NONOX technology, a technology by which SI-Otto cycle engine efficiency can be substantially improved.

GET Gas Engine Technology BV carries out the actual development work for the NONOX gas engine development projects.

NONOX BV is affiliated to NONOX Gas Engine, the company which is exclusively responsible for the sales and marketing for the automotive market.
